ENSEMBLE

Folk Dance Group "Srem" currently has over 200 active members. Work with members is organized through three children's ensembles, a veteran ensemble, the first performing ensemble, singing group and folk orchestra.

First Ensemble

The first performing ensemble has existed for many years and currently consists of 50 active members. It has performed many successful concerts and tours. The folklore tradition and program of the first ensemble consists of choreographies from different parts of our country and beyond, which they complement our performances both on the domestic and world stage.

First children's ensemble

A preparatory ensamble that is is also one of our oldest children's groups. The program of the first children's ensemble consists of choreographies intended for children aged 11 to 15. The work with children itself is based on gaining appropriate experience for becoming members of First ensemble. This ensemble usually performs on many festivals across the country, both with competitive and revial character.

Second children's ensemble

Children between the ages of 8 and 11 are members of the second children's ensemble. Choreographies, which they perform, are of a lighter character and are made according to the age of the children. In addition to the dance, there is also an accent on songs and certain types of children's interpretation.

School of folklore

"SREM“ Folklore School exists for many years backward. It was created for children aged 6 to 8. Rehearsals are based on learning the very basics of folklore dance, on proper posture and children's development. The program is based on the simplest steps and choreography that is made for these purposes.

Ensamble of Veterans

All former members of our society, after the end of their dancing career, can join the veteran ensemble. The ensemble is divided into several groups by dance generations, starting from the generation of the 70s until 2000. Work with veterans is oriented towards recreative rehearsals but also for preparations for certain performances.
