As a separate and yet unbreakable and indelible link in each ensemble, led by the head of the orchestra, Petar Dobrodolac, they are devoted to folk songs and music. With a top concert quality, they interpret music arranged on the basis of pure traditional folk music.
The instruments represented in the upcoming orchestra of Srem are: accordion, guitar, drum, violin, frula, flute, percussion, kaval, bagpipes, solo, clarinet, saxophone, double bass, bass guitar, chalgia.
In the program, the orchestra has independent instrumental ensembles as well as musical accompaniments by vocal soloists and members of the Singing Group, which are primarily based on the musical traditions of Serbia and the Balkans, but also on many other styles and musical forms. An extremely important and indispensable part of the orchestra's repertoire are the instrumental accompaniments to the choreographic settings of the Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs.
